Again, Samsung is well on its way to reach the 10 million Galaxy S units sold this year. In its own backyard, the company moved 800,000 Galaxy S devices in just 55 days making it the fastest selling phone in South Korea, like ever. The news comes on the heals of the previous announcement when we reported they have sold half a million Galaxy S smartphones in the country.
Now, to to further push the sales forward, the giant electronics maker is introducing the Snow White version of the handset (model number SHW-M110S), which we hope will also be available in the Western hemisphere. As you can see from the image above, the white Galaxy S looks kinda iCool, though I doubt there are elements for a legal case from Cuppertino folks.
Samsung’s flagship smartphone packs that gorgeous 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, few gigs of built-in storage (depending on the model) that is further expandable with microSD cards. Android 2.1 (soon 2.2 Froyo) is running the show with Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI on top of it…
