OS6Like BlackBerry Theme

Update: Just received note that version 2.01.01 of this theme has been released. Some cool new features have been added… and in addition there’s more device support. The 8530, 8500, 8900, 9000, 9300, 9600 and 9700 are now compatible with this theme. If you haven’t checked this one out yet, keep reading!

My bud Hedone Hawker from HedoneDesign has been a busy little BlackBerry Theme builder this week. A few days back I told you about the new Pneuma BlackBerry Theme… and now, I’ve just received an email from him letting me know yet another new theme is available. But it’s not just any ordinary theme… it’s a well done, very detailed BlackBerry 6 ‘replica’ theme! Cool! So, if you don’t have BlackBerry 6 yet, this is probably the next best thing!

The theme itself is actually called OS6Like (for obvious reasons). And yes, it does bring a lot of the look and feel of BlackBerry 6, to your OS 5-packing device. There’s 16 homescreen icons, of which 12 are customizable.

I could go on and on as to which devices this theme is compatible with… but instead of listing them I suggest you pop over to HedoneDesign via the link at the end of this post. If you have a current-gen BlackBerry, chances are you’re going to be good to go with this one.

Kudos to Hedone on this one. I know a lot of folks out there have been waiting for a more quality OS 6 theme… this one looks to fit the bill.
