Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Apollo get Ajax editions in the Netherlands

Samsung has teamed up with Ajax Amsterdam to launch a special versions of the two Android smartphones, Galaxy S and Galaxy Apollo, in the Netherlands.

Both devices are available with a 19.95 EUR monthly plan which includes voice, data and access to Ajax-related content. Speaking of content, I would assume Samsung pre-loaded the two phones with some Ajax ringtones, wallpapers and videos.

Other than the packaging and the fact that you’re buying Samsung phones from Ajax’s website (and not from a carrier), there are no other differences specs wise. As you know, the Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Apollo rock an all-touchscreen form factor offering users access to popular Google services, great camera experience (especially with the Galaxy S model), HSPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS and so on.

At the moment, this is the Netherlands-only offer, though I would imagine people all around the world may want to grab the Ajax-branded smartphone — those unfamiliar should know Ajax is a pretty popular football/soccer team worldwide…
