The 2010 mHealth Summit will organize a Funding Networking Session to connect innovators with funders and grant-makers at the digital health event taking place next month. The session is scheduled for the first day of the summit (November 8th) from 5:15-6:30 pm, and will feature several NIH Institutes supporting mHealth technologies, as well as the:
- Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
- Intel Digital Health Group
- Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
- McKesson Foundation
- NASA
- U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
- U.S. Veteran’s Administration
- Vodafone Americas Foundation, and
- West Wireless Health Institute, among others.
The idea of the Funding Networking Session is to bring all interested parties together, including foundations, philanthropic organizations, government agencies, NGOs, private sector investors, as well as individuals and companies seeking support for mobile health solutions and programs. In that sense, investors and grant makers can zero-in on the latest technology solutions in mobile health and gain expert insights into the future of the industry…
