iPad iOS 4.2

iOS 4.2 is ready to land soon and developers, both official and unofficial, are preparing their wares for this upcoming release. Cydia, the de facto app store for jaibreakers, is reportedly ready for primetime and will be available once iOS 4.2 hits handsets and is promptly jailbroken.

Due to the myriad of changes introduced with iOS 4.2, the upcoming version of Cydia required a major overhaul. The dev team behind Cydia has not revealed the changes that were made in this update but we may see Rock Your Phone integrated into Cydia now that the two have joined forces.

iOS 4.2 promises to bring many changes, especially to the iPad which is expected to get support for multi-tasking, folders, wireless printing, and more. Anyone excited to see a new version of iOS and a new version of Cydia launching soon?
