Tablet Wars Infographic

An infographic from VoucherCodes.co.uk details the buying and usage habits of consumers interested in tablet devices. The data presented in the infographic was compiled from a 3,000-person questionnaire conducted in October of this year. The long visual presentation of the current state of the tablet market reveals the why, who, and for what reasons we buy tablets. Because the survey is so recent, it paints an excellent picture of the tablet buyer who will be purchasing or using a slate device this holiday season.

Not surprisingly, the data reveals that Apple is the leader in the tablet market both among current owners and prospective owners who hold Apple in high regard. My favorite statistic presented is the one that exams the amount of money people would pay to buy a tablet other than the iPad. While most people would readily buy a competitor at prices that were £300 less than the price of the iPad, a whopping 16.% of respondents would never give up their Apple iPad at any price. Now, that my friends is the definition of a diehard.
