BlackBerry Style 9670 Lands on Telus for $79.99

RIM’s second flip phone, the BlackBerry Style 9670, is available now on Telus for $79.99 on a three-year contract. Telus started recieving dummy units a few weeks ago, and we can only assume that Bell will be offering their Style soon too.

The BlackBerry style runs the new version 6 operating system, which includes universal search, a WebKit browser, and a significantly prettier user interface. The specs are about the same as the Torch – 5 megapixel camera with flash, HVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G, but it also includes an external screen for checking notifications at a glance. The form factor might not be everybody’s cup of tea, but in my experience, it provided for a much larger keyboard than usual, which is a definite plus.

You can find our review of the BlackBerry Style 9670 here, or pick one up at Telus here, but if I were you, I’d nab that free BlackBerry Pearl 3G on a one-year contract before the sale is over at the end of the day.
