BlackBerry Bold 9780

Just a quick BlackBerry OS update here for the Bold 9780 users out there. The best part of this is, it’s an OFFICIAL release, woohoo! OS 6.0.0.359 has dropped for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 from AVEA. The update should pack a somewhat reasonable punch, bumping you up quite a bit from the standard OS build that comes pre-installed on most 9780 units. To get started, hit up the link below:

Download OS 6.0.0.359 for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 >

Remember, if you decide to download and install, do so at your own risk. Backup your device before starting, and take all necessary precautions. Yes, I know this is an official release, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be careful here, right? After installation, do let us know if you notice any marked changes or improvements in this release. Is it even a worthwhile install? Should other 9780 users even care? Let us know!

For what it’s worth: If you’d like to know more about the device, check out our BlackBerry Bold 9780 Review.
