Oceanhouse Media announced that it has crossed the 1 million mark in paid app downloads on Apple’s AppStore. Seven of the company’s omBooks have reached the number one spot on the AppStore in the Top Paid Book category, including many of the Dr. Seuss ebooks. Additionally, Oceanhouse apps held the number one spot in Kids Games with Grinchmas! and in Finance with Money, and the Law of Attraction.

In the two years since its founding, Oceanhouse Media has released more than 150 apps ranging in price from $0.99 to $15.99.

The company has licensing agreements with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company, Zondervan (a division of HarperCollins), Hay House, Chronicle Books, Character Arts, Holiday Hill Farms and Mercer Mayer (author of the Little Critter series of books). In some cases, they worked directly with authors – one such example is Mercer Mayer for whom Oceanhouse Media launched 5 iOS apps…
