Amazon Mobile on Windows Phone

Amazon announced on Thursday that its mobile application will soon be available on Windows Phone. The mobile application ties into Amazon’s product database and lets you view product details, read customer reviews, and browse related items. Once you log in using your Amazon account, you can make a purchase using 1-Click ordering, as well as view your Amazon Prime membership, track an order and more. The Windows Phone version of the Amazon applications adopts the interface of WP7 and has a dynamic interface that lets you swipe left or right to view different aspects of a product.

For long-time smartphone users, the Amazon mobile application may be familiar to you as it is already available for iOS, Android and BlackBerry. Other mobile applications include Amazon Price Check for the iPhone and Amazon Windowshop for the iPad. The Amazon Mobile application is now available in the Windows Phone marketplace for free. The full press release announcing the release of this shopping application is on the second page. Additional details can be found here.
