Roughly a month ago we talked about Coverage? iPhone app, which brings U.S. mobile operators’ coverage maps to your iDevice. Just in time for the Verizon iPhone launch, the developer updated the application to include refreshed and updated maps of all major operators — including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile — as well as maps covering Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Moreover, there are now 4G maps for all carriers but AT&T, which still has to publish its maps. And by 4G, ITU includes LTE, WiMAX and HSPA+ — actually, we think only LTE but that’s not the modern day consensus.
It is said that Coverage? 2.0 launches faster than its predecessor, while also rocking a new simplified user interface.
Want to see how this works before paying a single dime? No problem, we have a demo video to share. Here comes… Enjoy! 😉
