Apple is apparently looking to open its first retail store in Arkansas. While we don’t know exactly when the new store will be open for business, we’ve heard that will most likely happen at some point in October. The store will be located in The Promenade at Chenal Mall in Little Rock.
Back in 2007, a year before the Chenal Mall opened, Apple was listed as one of the tenants, though their store never opened, despite the company filing for a building permit in November 2007 and posting job listings in January 2008.
Now new job postings for the Little Rock Apple Store surfaced, hinting us the Bill Clinton’s home state may get its iExperience after all.
Presuming everything goes as planned and Arkansas gets its iStore, there will only be six states still without an Apple retail store, including Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming.
