And the latest addition to Rovio’s Angry Birds empire will be… (drums please)… a cookbook. That’s right, after t-shirts, animated series, board game (in partnership with Mattel) and computer speakers, Angry Birds-themed cookbook is in works.
Apparently Rovio has been in discussion with a number of companies — including Amazon, Apple and Barnes & Noble — about distribution of the book.
So what do you think the cookbook will be all about? Egg dishes of course. Moreover, I would assume pork dishes would come as a bonus, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
Aside from this new business, Rovio will continue to work on its animated series. The company’s Mighty Eagle, Peter Vesterbacka, told reporters, “We’re getting serious about animation – already produced a series of animated shorts. We’re going to make more of those. We’re going to make longer animations. And who knows, one day we’re going to make a movie.”
