Good news for Carphone Warehouse and smartphone users who are into 3D screens. The mobile phone retailer scored exclusive launch deal with LG to sell their 3D screen-equipped Android smartphone, Optimus 3D. Carphone will get to offer the device before anyone else and has already started taking pre-orders with expected delivery date listed as the “week commencing 27th June.” UPDATE: It now says “expected delivery on the 7th July.”

LG’s baby is offered for free as long as you commit on a 35 GBP a month two-year contract from Vodafone. That money gets you 600 “Anytime Any network” minutes, unlimited texts (subject to fair use policy) and half a gig of mobile data per month. Alternatively there are other plans, some of which may last for “only 18 months” but require putting some cash upfront. Similarly, you can opt for a 30 GBP a month plan and pay 50 GBP for the device itself. There are quite a few options available, all of which you can check from Carphone’s website
