If you’ve been waiting to get the Nexus S or just want a new smartphone for not much money, you should check out Best Buy August 3 because the company will be offering the pure Google experience phone for free with a new, two-year contract.
That’s right, starting at 11:00 p.m. CST tonight through 11:59 CST August 3, the Nexus S will be free on Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile when you go into a Best Buy store, Best Buy Mobile or through its online store. We liked the first Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone when we reviewed it but those of you wanting the latest and greatest may be put off a bit by the specs on the thing. That’s not to say it’s a bad phone and that free price (excluding activation fees, of course) is quite nice.
