Good news if you’re living in the UK and still haven’t decided which smartphone to buy, Tesco Phone Shop may have something for you. It is offering two of the hottest Android devices, Motorola RAZR and Samsung Galaxy S II, for free with T-Mobile contracts starting at 20.43 GBP per month. Even better news is that the mentioned plan is actually decent, featuring 300 voice minutes, 300 texts as well as “500MB Data Booster + Unlimited Internet Browsing.” I’ve no idea what’s that “500MB Data Booster” and whether it’s needed with “Unlimited Internet Browsing”…
In addition, every customer will also get 20 GBP of free apps, which come provided as part of T-Mobile’s “Appy Christmas” campaign we talked about before.
I have the Galaxy S II but I had to choose today, I would get the Motorola RAZR instead (or Galaxy Nexus, but that’s another story). It [RAZR] has pretty much the same hardware inside, but it’s thinner and sports a higher-res Super AMOLED screen than Samsung’s smartphone — qHD (960×540) vs WVGA (480×800 pixels). Plus it can sing along the Moto Lapdock, which is cool. 😉
