Rogers Wireless’ owned Fido is preparing to spice up its portfolio on January 10th with two hot Android smartphones – Motorola RAZR and Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The first of the two has been officially confirmed by Motorola Canada (via Twitter), while the second one is still in the “rumor phase.”
It is said that the RAZR will be available for CA$100 on a new three-year contract, while Galaxy Nexus will sell (presuming it does land alongside the RAZR) for about CA$150 again with a 3-year customer agreement, or for CA$650 sans any contracts signed.
Both phones are awesome and you won’t go wrong with any of the two. Still I give my preference to the Galaxy Nexus due to its 720p screen and the fact that it runs Ice Cream Sandwich out of box. That said, we’re sure Motorola is working round the clock to bring the Android 4.0 update to the super-thin smartphone users, as well.
