Last week Samsung expanded its portfolio of products to include a new line of wired headsets. The “your sound” line has four new models like the entry-level EHS-60, the active EHS-63, the advanced EHS-70 and the audiophile-quality EHS-73.
The EHS-60 “Serious Sound” is an entry-level set of earphones that include background noise isolation, an inline microphone and an answer key. One step up from the EHS-60 is the EHS-63 “Active sound” which targets the fitness crowd with a dual speaker design that uses one in-ear and one open-ear speaker so you can groove to your music and still listen to your surroundings.
The last two headsets in Samsung’s lineup include the EHS-70 “Massive Sound” and the EHS-71 “Refined Sound”. These two headsets are for the audiophile who wants style along with noise isolation, clear vocals and detailed highs and lows.
Besides its headset offerings, Samsung also introduced two Bluetooth headsets, the HM1800 and the HM6000. The HM1800 is the smaller of the two with a minimalist, unobtrusive design. The HM6000 is the Cadillac of Bluetooth headsets and includes dual-mic noise cancellation, mono audio streaming, text-to-speech and voice commands.
