Canada’s Rogers Wireless said it has no plans to offer LTE services through its sub-brand Fido, though things could change or are changing as we speak. When Fido employees click on the screen to activate/upgrade a customer the option of “LTE Voice and Data Sharing Bundles” pops up. That, of course, doesn’t prove anything though since it’s a new option (as far as I’ve understood), but it’s likely that Fido and Rogers are working to introduce faster mobile Internet connections in the near future.
As a reminder, aside from Rogers Wireless – Bell, Telus and Virgin Mobile Canada also provide LTE services, with the last mentioned limiting its offer to the new iPad…
