Vodafone UK has started rolling out Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Sensation, which at one point was one of the most popular Android smartphones, meaning there’s a ton of users waiting to grab it. That in turn usually means staged release with some folks getting the new software before others. Here’s what Voda had to say about it:
The update will be rolled out in phases by the Over The Air service, so if yours doesn’t appear right away, you can either wait for it to appear, or go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update > Check now.
Now that’s all cool but even more users are waiting to get ICS update for their Samsung Galaxy S II and as you may’ve read from our previous post, the Big Red carrier is still working on it, testing every aspect of the updated software to make sure it runs perfectly on its network…
Finally we’ve no idea what’s happening with other HTC Sensation phones sold through Vodafone outside of UK. If you happen to get an update, please let us know. 😉
