If TELUS can offer LTE services, why wouldn’t its sub-brand, Koodo Mobile, do the same. That will apparently happen pretty soon, with HowardForums member “newdad” picking up speeds of “14mb down and 12mb” when hooking his unlocked Galaxy Note up in Aurora. Those are not “full LTE speeds” of 75Mbps, but TELUS’ network usually delivers download speeds between 12 and 25 Mbps. And we can’t blame the carrier for this – there is a number of inter-connectivity issues that could slow down your download.

Anyway, we’re glad to hear that Koodo will join the LTE party and can only hope its users won’t have to wait for too long to benefit from faster mobile Internet connections. We’ll follow this story and let you know as soon as we hear something new. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
