Canada: Rogers and TELUS customers with Samsung Galaxy Note getting their ICS update in late July

Not sure whether we should mark this as “bad” or “good” news. The good “part” is that Samsung Galaxy Note owners in Canada will get the Ice Cream Sandwich update in late July, with those owning a Rogers Wireless-branded model being able to download it on July 21st. The bad “part” is that as I’m writing this, many Galaxy Note users from other parts of the world are already enjoying all the benefits ICS brings to the table. Plus, let’s not forget those Galaxy Note specific updates that make the S Pen even more useful.

So it’s kinda late, but as they say it – better late than never. And besides if you know what you’re doing, you can already update the Galaxy Note, relying on the hacking community to help you out along the way. We don’t suggest doing so — cause something could always go wrong — but it’s an option. ;)
