HumanToolz Stand is made to allow you to stand up your iPad at any angle using precision hinge technology found in the MacBook Air. The idea was to create a premium stand with a minimalist design and “level of versatility missing in stands currently on the market.” In that sense, we’re talking about a thin and ultra-lightweight stand (weighing just 2.5 ounces) that can be used both in portrait and landscape modes, with or without a smart cover. Moreover, since it’s cast from single piece of high performance aluminum, it fits perfectly with the iPad’s design.

We love it and can only hope that once HumanToolz raises the cash it needs on Kickstarter ($80,000), it will launch similar stands for other popular tablets like few Samsung models and Google’s Nexus 7.

As for how much it costs, you can secure your HumanToolz Stand for $65. When it hits the retail, the price will go up to $89.95 so you better hurry. You can pledge your money from this page at Kickstarter.
