Every so often, something comes up that makes me extremely happy to live in Minnesota. Today is one of those days. This Saturday, the city of Roseville has invited the Guinness World Record people to witness the city’s attempt to break the world record for the most simultaneous mobile gamers in one location. The city hopes more than 3,000 people will show up to participate in the event, which would blow the current record of 316 people held by Birmingham, UK out of the water.
The official world record attempt will begin at 12:00 PM at the Guidant John Rose MN Oval, which during the 6 months of winter we get is one of the biggest outdoor ice skating arenas in the country. Any Minnesota readers interested in the event can head over to the City of Roseville’s web page for more info.
