Giuseppe from TuttoAndroid.net informed us that the Asus Padfone 2 will be unveiled at an October 16th event taking place at Milan, Italy and Taipei, Taiwan. We’re not sure what to expect, but we would like the new device to have a faster quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, and better screen(s) for both phone and tablet parts (as we discussed in our previous post on the subject). We also hope that it won’t take too long for Asus to actually make the new Padfone available to the general public — the original Padfone is still not available all around the world which is a shame to say the least. Can’t wait to see what these guys are up to.

Is there some specific feature you would like to see in the Padfone 2? Do let us know in the comments form below.
