ZTE has two new phones on the market – Anthem 4G and Blade III. The first of the two will be available at MetroPCS soon for $219 plus taxes, after mail-in rebate. This mid-end device packs 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing one, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in memory. Unfortunately it will ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board though we hope the Ice Cream Sandwich update will be released shortly.

The other ZTE phone we want to talk about is Blade III, which we’ve recently caught at a Finnish retailer’s website. Just like its predecessors, the new Blade remains an affordable smartphone with specs that include a 4-inch WVGA display, 1GHz single-core CPU, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in memory (2.5GB user-accessible). The ZTE Blade III is launching this month in Finland for about 176 EUR with other European markets to follow shortly.
