Interbrand is out with its 13th annual Best Global Brands report, showcasing the value of different brands across the globe. As you can imagine, Coca-Cola rules the day, occupying the number 1 spot again (as it had in 2011).

Apple is the second most valuable brand, jumping from 8th position it held last year. Google kept its forth position, Microsoft dropped from 3rd to 5th position, while Samsung entered the top 10 list, rising 40% in popularity (from number 17). Guess the Koreans have their Olympics marketing to thank for this huge rise in brand awareness, and also rock-solid sales of its Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

Nokia, in case you wonder, dropped again – from number 14 in 2011 to 19 this year… And if you want to know more, you can download the full Interbrand report from this page.
