Verizon’s HTC DLX with 5-inch 1080p screen caught in the wild

Days after we’ve seen the HTC J Butterfly announced in Japan, we caught the similar device with Verizon’s branding. The forthcoming HTC DLX (pronounced “Deluxe”) will have the same 5-inch 1080p screen, along with other high-end specs like 2GB of RAM, LTE connectivity support, 8 or 12-megapixel rear camera (we’re still not sure), front-facing one, 16GB of built-in storage, while Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean runs the show out of box.

We’ve no idea when Verizon and HTC will officially announce the new phone, but we know that Japanese KDDI will launch its version in December. Guess we should expect to see it hitting store shelves at about the same time. We’ll bring you more as soon as we hear something new on this. Stay tuned in the meantime…
