Sprint and LG are pushing out Ice Cream Sandwich update for the LG Viper 4G LTE as we speak. Some users may’ve already got it, whereas some other are still waiting due to update process’ “staged” nature.

Once updated, your Viper 4G will run software version LS840ZVI, packing a number of improvements and fixes, including:

  • Number of users displayed on Hotspot (bug fix)
  • Improved Lock Screen
  • Home screen folders
  • Improved Android Browser
  • Improved Camera Experience
  • Face Unlock
  • Resizable widgets

Bear in mind that when checking for the update, you may receive a message that no update is available; check back later or wait until the update notification is sent to your device. Then connect to a fast hotspot and follow instructions provided on the screen. It’s pretty easy.
