While the Galaxy Tab 2.0 is getting Jelly Bean update, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi owners are still waiting for Ice Cream Sandwich. The good news is that the wait is almost over with users in Malaysia reporting receiving new software version. However, this is still not widely available and while you can manually cram this firmware to your Galaxy Tab 8.9, you’re better off waiting for few more days/weeks for your tablet to inform you about the update. We don’t really know what’s the schedule here, but since one market is covered, it’s safe to bet others will follow shortly.
It is said that the update makes the Galaxy Tab 8.9 faster, while the battery life is improved. Plus, there are other feature updates which come as part of Ice Cream Sandwich…
