Huawei is about to bring yet another low-to-mid end smartphone to Europe. The Ascend G330 is set to hit UK at some point next month with TalkTalk offering it for free on plans starting at 10 GBP per month. That cash gets you a decent device, one that packs a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play), 5-megapixel rear camera, front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show…
As for the looks, the Ascend G330 is similar to the Ascend G300 with few changes here and there — though most modern phones look alike.
TalkTalk aside, we’ve no information whether some of the big operators in the UK will also pick up this phone. We’ll let you know if we hear something of that sort…
