As we’re getting closer to the end of the year, carriers and third-party phone retailers are beefing-up their offerings, slashing the prices of minutes, texts and megabytes to lure us into spending our hard-earned cash. If you live in the UK and want the Galaxy S III, we may have a special deal for you.

Tesco’s mobile arm is currently offering Sammy’s superphone for free on a two-year contract for 26 GBP/month. The best part is that unlimited data comes included, and so do 300 calling minutes and 5,000 text messages. 300 minutes (5 hours) doesn’t sound much, but that’s where all that mobile data comes in – just fire-up some VoIP app like Skype when you need to call someone and that’s it. You’ll end up paying the friction of the cost this way.

So what do you say? Are you willing to go with this? Or you’ll rather wait for some 1080p smartphone? If Galaxy S III fits your needs, click here to get all the details (and reserve your unit today).
