Windows Phone Store will mostly remain open for business during holidays

Windows Phone Store has been growing lately, experiencing a sustained 40% increase in app submissions. Developers obviously like the new version of Microsoft’s platform and to better support them, the company unveiled the holiday schedule – when they’ll be conducting app reviews and when the folks doing this job will take the time off to spend with their friends and families.

As you can see from the table above, there’s still time to benefit from the holiday spike in sales, but you gotta be quick. The Windows Phone Store team asks developers to allow 5 business days for their apps to be certified during the holiday timeframe…

If you haven’t had a chance to do so yet, the holidays might be just the right time to download the new SDK and check out the Windows Phone 8 platform. Sales of the Nokia Lumia 920 are growing so there’s money to be made in this market…
