Sprint is running a neat campaign for the holidays, offering a $100 discount on popular tablets to everyone getting a new smartphone (with a contract) from the carrier. Valid through January 10th, this deal “covers” several devices, including the Apple iPad mini (starting at $359.99), Apple iPad 4 (starting at $529.99), Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (starting at $449.99), and Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi ($399.99).

The best part is that you can get any smartphone, not just a high-end one. Yup, this means you can even buy one of those smartphones that are free with a contract, though we suggest getting something better, instead. For instance, you can go for the Samsung Galaxy Note II, LG Optimus G (aka Nexus 4), Apple iPhone 5 and ZTE Flash.

Pretty cool, don’t you think? You can get more information about this deal from this page at Sprint’s website.

This is something carriers in Europe should copy. :)
