We’ve seen Huawei’s first Windows Phone 8 device unveiled at CES but that apparently isn’t the whole story. As we’ve heard before, the company will unveil a better device from the floor of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Details are scarce at the moment, but we’re hearing the upcoming Ascend W2 will be touted as the world’s thinnest Windows Phone device ever. This isn’t the Android world we’re talking about so something like that should be feasible as other smartphones running Microsoft’s mobile platform are not as thin (as some Android devices).
Specs wise, Huawei’s baby will rock a 4.5-inch 720p HD ultra-sensitive screen that will work even with gloves on, 8-megapixel rear camera, dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and a decent 2,800mAh battery. As for the price, it is said that the Ascend W2 will sell for 3,200 yuan which translates into some $515…
