T-Mobile LTE caught in Kansas City?

Looks like T-Mobile has started testing its LTE network in Kansas City, with at least one XDA Developer user saying it caught the signal. However, he wasn’t pleased with the speed, which tops at 10Mbps on the downlink and 5Mbps on the uplink. That, however, will definitely change once the test phase is over and the Magenta carrier unleashes the “true power of LTE.” After all, their existing HSPA+ network tops at 42Mbps and the idea with the network upgrade is to make for an even faster mobile Internet.

Aside from Kansas City, citizens (and visitors) of Las Vegas will also be among the first ones to get T-Mobile’s LTE network. No user has thus far caught the signal but we’re sure that’s coming any day now. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear something new on this…
