Except if you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve no idea what’s Roomba all about. For those of you who don’t know it – it’s a robotic vacuum cleaner, which is now also made by other companies like LG and Samsung. A similar device, only much smaller, will soon be released in Japan to help the local tech-savvy community clean their gadgets.

The name of the product is Automee-S and it’s the work of a company called Takara Tomy. Just like Roomba, this AA battery-powered 2.75-inch screen polisher will also know where the edges of the device are so it doesn’t fall on the table (or wherever you happen keep your phones and tablets).

As I’m writing this, we’ve no information when or even whether the Automee-S will ever be released in the Western hemisphere. In Japan, it will start selling at some point next month for 1,575 yen, which is roughly $16.80. I would buy one for that money right now… Check out this cure Roomba’s cousin in live action from a video below…

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application. Dusan used to run SymbianWatch.com which later became part of IntoMobile. He lives in Serbia, South-East Europe, from where he edits the site on a daily basis.
