Nokia 720 passes through the FCC; sorry no LTE

The fashion-focused Nokia 720 has made its way to the FCC. This new Windows Phone offering has passed through the FCC’s approval stage, but it doesn’t include the LTE capabilities most of us in the United States have grown accustomed to. Therefore, it is hard to believe the device will come stateside anytime soon. Much like Google’s Nexus 4, the 720 will carry HSPA+ to make up for the lack of LTE. However the details show it will run on AT&T’s frequencies. We’ll keep our eyes peeled on whether Nokia decides to make variant that runs LTE, although we wouldn’t hold our breath in hopes of this happening.
