US Cellular has once again confirmed it will support Windows Phone 8, with the first such device(s) apparently hitting their portfolio at some point next month.

A company spokesperson turned to Facebook to spread the news without going into much details, like which Windows Phone will they get to carry. The chances are they’ll end-up with one of Nokia Lumia devices though some other model may also get a shot.

Earlier, we’ve seen the mysterious Samsung SCH-R860U clearing the FCC with hints it could be the mobile operator’s first smartphone running Microsoft’s latest mobile platform.

As usual, we’ll make sure to get back to you as soon as new details emerge. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
