Two new ZTE Android smartphones have been released in Hong Kong — ZTE Blade C and ZTE Blade III Pro — both of which target lower-end of the market.
The Blade C, which is available for just 1,280 HKD (about $165), comes with a 4-inch WVGA screen, MediaTek’s 1GHz dual-core processor (MTK6577), 512MB of RAM, 3-megapixel camera, 4GB of internal memory, Bluetooth 3.0, 1,600mAh battery, microSD card slot, while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show.
As for the Blade III Pro (model number V889F), it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, while boasting such specs as 4-inch WVGA display, Qualcomm’s MSM8225 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of expandable memory, and the same 1,600 mAh battery. The Blade III Pro is selling for 1,500 HKD ($193).
We’ve no idea whether any of these two will make it to the West but if that happens — and we don’t have anything else to talk about that day — we’ll get back to you. In the meantime, you are free to look for better phones.
