Huawei is bringing its Ascend W1 smartphone to the United States. The Windows Phone 8-powered device will be available later this month at Walmart.com and at select Walmart stores across the country.

Alongside the new phone, the Chinese company is also launching “Huawei W1 ‘Make it Yours’ Music & Mobile Sweepstakes.” Beginning May 15, fans of the Huawei W1 and Jonas Brothers will be able to enter to win the smartphone, tickets to attend Jonas Brothers Tour concerts, and even a chance to meet the band in person.

Again, the W1 comes with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Gorilla Glass-protected 4-inch IPS LCD screen, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and auto-focus, VGA front-facing one, GPS, 3G + Wi-Fi connectivity, 4GB of internal memory and a microSD expansion slot. You can read more about it from our CES hands-on post…

Huawei failed to mentioned the price though it did say the Ascend W1 will offer “unbeatable value to consumers” whatever that means.
