Good news for all of you who need a rock-solid smartphone selling without any long-term commitments. Google decided to slash the price of Nexus 4 by $100, bringing the price of the 8GB model to $199 and the 16 gig one to $249.
Actually, they say that Nexus 4 is now 25% off or more, but in the US, that translates into exactly 100 bucks. Guess the price varies depending on the region, cause this is a global thing. The phone’s price has been slashed in multiple markets, including Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Korea, UK, and of course the US.
We can’t help but wonder whether this means that the Nexus 5 launch is imminent. While we like the Moto X, we can’t help but imagine there’s something even better cooking at Mountain View’s labs. Something with Snapdragon 800 or Tegra 4 chip perhaps? We can dream, right? 😉
