Motorola and Google’s Moto X recently began rolling out to eager customers, and Engadget recently got to visit Motorola’s Moto X assembly factory in Fort Worth, Texas. While the Moto X isn’t the fastest or biggest smartphone on the market today, it does offer competitive specs and pricing. The Moto X is also customizable through Motorola’s Moto Maker software, which is available for AT&T customers at the moment.

Motorola decided to assemble the Moto X in the U.S., bringing together the production and design teams in one spot. Engadget takes us through the magic that happens in Motorola’s Fort Worth assembly plant, as well as Motorola’s decision to assemble the device in the U.S.
