ASUS Padfone Mini press render leaks

ASUS Padfone Mini press render leaks

We’ve already told you that ASUS will be launching the Padfone Mini on December 11th. And now we have its press render to show you, compliments to EVleaks.

We like how the Padfone Mini’s look and feel; what we don’t like is the fact that it’s a rather mediocre phone under the hood. We never expected it to rock Snapdragon 800 chip, but we hoped for the Snapdragon 600 (rather than 400) and at least 1.5GB of RAM (rather than single gig). We’re kinda cool with a 4.3-inch screen with qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution — though 720p HD would be much better — and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution of the tablet part.

Once again, ASUS may have a winner at its hand. It just needs to solve two things: price and distribution. Earlier Padfone models were super-expensive and even as such, they weren’t available all around the world. Not to mention that no major carrier offered them. Hopefully, this time round, the Taiwanese company will manage to find way to clear these two issues…

As long as this isn’t an expensive device, I’m all for it. Plus, they better have that keyboard dock. :)
