Nokia unveiled a new feature phone that will cost no more than 40 EUR sans any strings attached.
Even though it’s a basic device, the Nokia 225 and its dual SIM counterpart, offer a solid bang for the buck. You get a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera on the back, and a number of preloaded apps such as media player, Nokia Browser, Facebook, Twitter and Bing. Moreover, the 225 comes with FM radio with RDS, and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity with SLAM that emulates file sharing via NFC.
All this comes packed in a 10.4mm-thin body, weighing just 100 grams. You get to choose between few color options such as Red, Yellow, Green, Black and White. The battery can last for up to 36 days in standby mode, or 27 days for the dual-SIM variant.
Here’s a short demo video to convince you to buy one of these… for your kid.
