AppToDate makes sure your Windows Mobile device runs latest application version

AppToDateHere’s a neat software for all Windows Mobile users out there. Thanks to AppToDate you can easily — you guessed that correctly — keep your mobile applications up to date.

The idea behind the project is simple. Many users crave for the latest version of their mobile apps and AppToDate is there to check for the latest software version, automatically download it and install the update.

On the downside — if that actually counts as a downside — is that AppToDate is currently in beta, meaning some of you may not like the idea of running the non-complete application on their mobile phone. In addition, only few apps are supported at the moment, but Paul (the guy behind the project) is inviting all interested developers to jump on board.

The best advice I can give you is to bookmark the AppToDate page and return there from time to time. Once it hits the version 1.0, grab it and from then on, make sure your apps are always fresh and new. 😉
