Samsung L870 officially announced at S60 Summit in Barcelona

Samsung L870A week ago we posted more details about the upcoming Samsung L870 smarpthone. Now we have even more information as the Korean giant officially unveiled the device at S60 Summit in Barcelona, Spain.

The official specs go like this:

  • Network: HSDPA (2100MHz) 3.6Mbps, plus tri-band (900/1800/1900) EDGE/GPRS
  • Display: 2.4-inch QVGA 16M Color TFT screen
  • Camera: 3 megapixels
  • Operating System: Symbian 9.3 with S60 3.2 (Feature Pack 2) running on top of it
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth v.2.0 EDR / USB 2.0 (Full Speed)
  • FM Radio with RDS
  • Memory: 100MB internal memory + Micro SD up to 4GB
  • Size: 103.5 x 50.5 x 13.5mm
  • Pre-installed apps: Quick Office document viewer, WebKit-based S60 browser, music and video player, push-email support, and other standard S60 apps.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any information about the pricing. We do, however know Samsung will release the L870 in Europe around August. No word on carrier partners, either.
