Spb Software has recently released a new version of its “expert mobile travel assistant application” – Spb Traveler 2.0. The new version of the popular mobile travel companion builds on top of its predecessor, adding new features to the mix, including:

  • Subscription-free flight search provided by OAG (Official Airline Guide), a reliable flight data source.
  • 3D Globe (Animation) – the application displays an actual real-time sky image on top of its animated 3D Globe. From there you can see selected flight routes, and favorite cities with local time, date, and weather information.
  • Geo Game – neat “self-learning game” designed to turn the boredom of waiting at check-in and gates into fun.
  • Improved Trip Assistant that includes new types of trip items and flight information OAG-powered auto-completion.
  • Improved animated user interface, which is now finger-friendly for easier one hand navigation. The new UI also adds support for adaptive skins and features animated transition effects.

Spb Traveler 2.0 works with all Windows Mobile Professional 5.0 or higher devices and costs $29.95. A free, 15-day trial is also available.
