Some new plans for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices were introduced on Bell Wireless recently, boasting “25% more minutes than competitor smartphone plans”, available until the end of December.

- nationwide Fab Five for unlimited calling and texting with five favourite contacts across the country

In just about the same breath, Bell cut 250 employees, with shifty promises of trying to find them other work within Bell if they leave without a fuss. Although it’s never great news, other wireless companies have been hit considerably harder by the economic crisis.
