BlackBerry Storm Screen Scratch Test

If you’re the new owner of a BlackBerry Storm, or just considering a purchase… You’ve no doubt had some concerns about the actual screen, and more importantly if the screen scratches easily.

In the video above, Brian from CES911 demonstrates how scratch-proof the screen on the Storm actually is. First off he takes some sort of nasty looking knife to the screen. No scratches. Next he takes one of those things you see at restaurants where they keep receipts. He vigorously goes at the screen on his Storm with that… Still no scratches. Finally, he initiates the most practical test of them all… The key-scratch test! Even the keys wouldn’t scratch the screen. Excellent.

Looks like the BlackBerry Storm gets two thumbs up for a solid, scratch-proof screen. Now, don’t get me started on some other shortcomings on the device… Lets stick with the scratch-proof screen for now. Good stuff.

Note: I love the fact that Brian is doing the tests because he’s sending the unit back anyway. Might as well put it through the ringer before you send her back 🙂
